Abstract
Eurotunnel consists of three 50-km tunnels, two 7.6-m diameter one-way running tunnels for shuttle and through trains and a 4.8-m diameter central service tunnel, all bored 25 and 45 m below the seabed, not laid on top of it.
歐洲隧道由三條管道組成，包括兩條直徑七點六米的單線火車管道和一條位於中央，直徑四點八米，敷設各類設施的輔助管道，三條隧道均在英倫海峽海床下二十五到四十五米鑽挖。
歐洲隧道是英倫列島千萬年前漂離歐洲大陸後，首條貫通兩地的通道。土木工程包括鑽造隧道 ，車站大樓和裝置機電設施。
