Abstract
With over 70 main contracts scheduled to be underway at the peak of the Airport Core Projects (ACP), and one dispute likely each month on each project, Kelvin Hingley, director and regional manager of High-Point Rendel (Hong Kong) Ltd estimates that three new disputes could be arising each working day of the major work. Given these statistics, it is no wonder that the construction industry is carefully assessing the time and cost elements of the Government's new ACP Conditions of Contract.
