Abstract
A central theme in Foster Asia's design of the new airport terminal building at Chek Lap Kok is energy efficiency. This is addressed in all aspects of the project and has quite literally shaped the design and form of the building. Grant Brooker, Director of Foster Asia(Hong Kong), describes how "a particular balance is achieved between the energy solutions and the other requirements of the project".
