Abstract
Museums are unique creatures. Like stuffy bankers, they usually project an uninviting, academic ambience. Visitors to such institution are relegated to silent voyeurs of the past, invited to "look" but not touch." Not so with institutions like the new Hong Kong Science Museum, where hands-on interaction between viewers and displays is invited and exhibits come to life at a touch, a punch or a shout in the right direction.
