Abstract
The Italian Company Internazionale Marmi e Macchine Carrara SpA (IMM) is renowned for the promotion of marble and other stones. The Marble Architecture Awards (MAA) is a competition open to architects, designers, urban landscape experts and interior designers participating with completed works in which the use of stone stands out from a formal or technical point of view. The projects entered for the MAA 1994 competition were examined by a jury composed of distinguished members of the architectural world.
