Abstract
It used to be that there were few spaces more venerable and unchanging than the museum, a place associated with solid stone walls whose definition suggests permanence. This, however, is a new millennium, and this museum is the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). And being located in the most dynamic, fast-changing environment in the world, nothing lasts long in the home of the "New York City minute".
