Abstract
The Site Preparation Contract (SPC) is the largest of the contracts awarded by the PAA for the Chek Lap Kok airport project. The contractor is creating a 5 km-long airport island which extends westwards into the sea. When complete, this land will measure 1,248 hectares, about four times the size of the existing airport at Kai Tak.
赤鱲角新機場皂地盤開拓工程是臨機局歷來批出最大的基建工程合約。
承建商須於赤鱲角建造一個全長5km﹑向西伸延的人工島。竣工後, 人工島將可提供1248ha的土地, 相等於啟德機場面積的四倍, 供新機場基建工程使用。
