Abstract
Composite slabs, a combination of steel deckplates and concrete, are becoming the mainstay in flooring work for steel-frame and steel-frame/reinforced concrete building construction. Their use results in shorter construction time, greater ease of flooring execution work, and thus more economical building construction.
