Abstract
Raffles International is launching a new hotel brand and a new concept when Merchant Court Hotel opens at Clarke Quay next month. The concept of an urban resort sets a precedent for Singapore, and is a long away from the usual curtain-walled or concrete high-rise edifices that are more commonly found in Asian cities.
