Abstract
The Hong Kong Institute of Architects has announced the winners of its Annual Awards 2001, highlighting some of Hong Kong's most significant completions during the previous years. Five buildings and one interior design project won awards, alongside prizes for work completed outside Hong Kong and in architectural research. The diverse list of projects selected by the HKIA jury demonstrates the high standard of achievement by Hong Kong's design professionals in approaching projects, from commercial developments on tight urban sites through to the reestablishment of a landmark historic building.
