Abstract
The cityscape of Central is being changed by the redevelopment of the venerable Li Po Chun Chambers building on Des Voeux Road Central. Squeezed between Vicwood Plaza and Sun House, the replacement building will be a typical Hong Kong commercial project. However, its design and construction will have problems due to the site's severe space limitations.
中環的城市風貌隨著嵗月不斷變遷, 歷史悠久的李寶樁大廈重建, 便印證了時代的轉變。李寶樁大廈座落德輔道中, 緊夾在維德廣場和大生行之間, 新大廈將是一幢典型的香港商業大廈。在施工過程中, 地盤空間的限制為設計和建造帶來各種問題。
