Abstract
If one were to describe the Hong Kong Stadium redevelopment project in football terms, it might be written up as "a lot of scrums, followed by a great deal of backfield motion, and then goal!" Because, like any game, its works will be a complexity of movement with one thing in mind - success within the allotted time.
In the following, main contractor Dragages et Travaux Publics HK Ltd project manager Jacques Pelletier provides details of the $710-million lump sum contract, whose end-product is regarded as perhaps the single most important development affecting team and field sports in recent years.
