Abstract
The Kwai Chung Viaduct - comprising approach roads, two four lane highways and a section of the Airport Railway - is now open to vehicular traffic. When main contractor Campenon Bernard SGE undertook the project they knew it was going to be no easy task. It took 45 months and a great deal of toil to complete but the finished product will go a long way towards providing the vital new links between both the mainland and the new airport at Chek Lap Kok.
