Abstract
It's not enough to construct magnificent buildings. A city devoid of trees and open green spaces is both unattractive and barren, as Hongkong developers are now realising. In an effort to give Hongkong's business district a greener look, Hongkong Land launched a programme two years ago to plant 100 trees in Central. Jane Ram reports on the project one year after Sir David Wilson planted the last tree in front of the Prince's Building.
