Abstract
Most of us realise that Hong Kong is a noisy place. But few realise that noise is damaging to health, as it increases stress levels and exacerbates the strain of a busy lifestyle. And even fewer recognise the efforts made to limit noise pollution from construction sites and to maintain quiet in residential areas. Building Journal spoke with a dedicated pair of "noisebusters" from Arup Acoustics.
