Abstract
That graphics, particularly in the form of signage, can, or even should be, an integral part of architectural briefs, is a principle which is receiving broad acceptance. What may not be generally acknowledged is the assumption that architectural graphics are correctly the domain of an architecturally-qualified graphics designers. The rationale is convincing, however, when such an assumption is examined in more depth.
