Abstract
Since its inception in 1948, the Housing Society as a not-for-profit independent organisation has so far provided more than 47,000 housing units. These have included low-cost rental housing, rural housing, our Flat-for-Sale scheme which is similar to the Housing Authority's Home Ownership Scheme, residential urban improvement projects and the latest Sandwich Class Housing Scheme for the middle-income group.
