Abstract
Bill Kocass' job has never been more challenging. Faced with an economic downturn, a shortage of qualified labour and the responsibility of ensuring his company gets a slice of the giant PADS pie, the Gammon Construction Ltd group managing director would be forgiven for looking forward to his retirement in 1997. But he's not about to admit it.
