Abstract
The Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre at Kowloon Park received the 50th Anniversary HKIA Annual Awards 2005 under the "Special Architectural Awards - Heritage" catergory for conserving two British army barrack buildings and turning them into a Centre for the protection and education of Hong Kong's unique archaeological and built heritage.
