Abstract
During the wee hours of Christmas morning last year, while most people were snuggled in bed, engineers at Gammon-Franki Kier Joint Venture and Van Oord ACZ's were busy hauling Hong Kong's largest-dimeter "pulled" pipelines from the western tip of Stonecutters Island onto the seabed of Victoria Harbour.
The yule-tide installation of a sewage outfall was part of the Northwest Kowloon Sewage Treatment and Disposal Scheme.
九一年聖誕節清晨，當大部份人還蜷伏床上時，金門——建新基利聯營公司和荷蘭Van Oord ACZ 的工程師，已忙於在昂船洲西端進行本港最大型的拉管工程。
這是西九龍污水處理排放系統的最後一段，主要是把兩條內徑二點二米的污水管，鋪設海床，把經處理的西北九龍污水，排放出維多利!亞港。
