Abstract
Tao Ho, award-winning architect of the Hong Kong Arts Centre and Western Market, was recently chosen to redecorate the Governor's mansion. An environmentalist long associated with Friends of the Earth, Dr Ho is incorporating some environmental principles into redecoration, such as using only wood from sustainable sources. His own office, in the North Point Ferry Pier, is partially decorated with the cast off timber from the pier.
