Abstract
The old design and the much to be desired quality of early public housing estates, where flats lacked bathrooms and kitchens were communally shared, has gone the way of the dinosaur, with estate housing today with bathrooms and kitchens included in larger-size, better-designed flats and community facilities and site landscaping as standard.
