Abstract
Few SAR residents are as diversified as Anna Pao Sohmen. Her company, Starform Sevices Ltd, supplies thermally efficient windows while her World United Investment Co Ltd company handles financial matters. Ms. Sohmen is also Chairman of the Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts.
In a recent speech at the Hong Kong American Club, the outspoken and articulate Ms Sohmen set forth a challenging series of goals for the SAR. Although the focus of her speech was HK's environment - with a specific focus on noise and construction waste - she also touched on many aspects of Hong Kong life, including sports, arts and culture. Building Journal presents an edited version of her speech which should provide our readers with food for thought.
