Abstract
The New World Hotel is located in the multi-purpose complex facing Tsim Sha Tsui's waterfront. The hotel has no street facade in addition to a low ceiling height. The brief for US designers Di Leonardo was to convert the 12-year-old building into a new generation property within the context of a four star plus hotel. A number of guest rooms from 720 to 550, creating two executive floors with a homely setting, and opening a versatile nightclub.
