Abstract
When considering the merits or otherwise of commencing legal proceedings, an important issue is whether the claimant's rights have been lost because the proceedings were not commenced quickly enough. In this article, Mr Haley and Mr Shaw provide a brief survey of the time limits which apply in various countries within the region.
Glenn Haley and Geoff Shaw are solicitors working with Messrs McKenna & Co, Hongkong. Both have considerable experience in construction and engineering law.
