Abstract
How many readers have simple glossed over the "antiquities clause" in construction contracts? In this month's column, Glenn Haley and Geoffrey Shaw examine the question of how antiquities discovered during the course of construction are to be treated. They look at the general law concepts of "treasure trove" and "finder", as well as how Hong Kong statute law and a standard form of contract deal with the question.
(1) Treasure trove
(2) The law of finders
