Abstract
A group of architecture students and lecturer embarked on a 30-hour train trip to Beijing last year. The outcome of that trip was an exhibition held in a symbolic red room at the Department of Architecture, Chinese University of Hong Kong. The exhibition consisted of photos shot along the journey from Kowloon Railway station to Beijing, illustratng the changes from the southern to northern cities and unfolding their impressions of the capital.
