Abstract
Do architects make good watches? Or furniture? Or pasta? Should architects stick to what they know best, or should we welcome their contributions to other areas of design? A recent exhibition of architecs' forays into other field such as watch and jewellery design, suggest that the boundaries between design disciplines need not be so rigid.
