Abstract
Building upon a brief already outlined by the ArchSD, Percy Thomas Partnership (HK) Limited (PTP) won the project in March 1993. The limited competition was invitation-only, and PTP submitted a highly original solution as the winning brief. Their plan optimised the full potential of the site, based on a "model departments' strategy. The design was short-listed for the EEBA 97 Awards.
