Abstract
In the following paper, Mr Gem sets out to review the challenges facing Hong Kong contractors over the next decade or so. By reviewing the past and the solutions adopted, Gem will seek to identify the key difficulties ahead and suggest solutions, including how the contractors need to change in order to serve the needs of our community and Hong Kong's economy.
