Abstract
Whilst design-and-build (or "turnkey") contracts are not a new phenomenon, they have not frequently been employed in Hong Kong either for Government or private projects. In this two-part Article, CJ Wilson, a partner in the Construction Practice Group of Baker & McKenzie, examines the Hong Kong Government's new draft Design-and-Build Contract and the associated Administrative Procedures and Practice Note.
