Abstract
As part of the United Technologies Corporation Group, the Carrier Company has grown to become the largest manufacturer of air conditions in the world. The seeds for the company were sown in 1902 when Dr. Willies Carrier invented the world's first centrifugal air conditioner. The invention was an instant hit and by 1915 the Carrier has factories throughout the world including the USA, France, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Korea, Australia and South America. With over 130 branches and offices covering markets all over the world, the company has an excellent global network.
