Abstract
With the unprecedented growth of air traffic in Asia forecast for the next decade and further, there is a corresponding need to updrade, extend and build airports. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has had the foresight to recognise this growth with their recent two 'finger pier' extension in a $S300 million expansion programme.
