Abstract
Building an airport in the midst of one of the territory's least densely populated areas presented one big problem - where to house all the workers required for a busy international airport? The solution: Tung Chung New Town. Originallya rural wilderness interspersed by several small fishing villages, the site will eventually become a thriving urban area and a home to more than 200,000 residents.
