Abstract
Imagine going to a school where you could get a proper secondary and college education and then graduate with a diploma in… circus training. Unusual? Yes. But we suspect no one who's ever worked inany circus would call it frivolous or easy, and since the worldwide smash success of Cirque de Soleil, no one else should either. The Quebec government in Canada sure doen't; it even funds this school as a public institution and recognises its academic qualifications.
