Abstract
When dairy cattle reduce their milk output, the roots of plants snap and computer equipment malfunctions, it is often safe to assume there is piling work nearby - that is if one is literally deaf to the pounding noise of steel. Not anymore when a silent pile driver from Japan's Giken Engineering Group is used. A salutary invention indeed.
