Abstract
The Energy Efficient Building Award Committe, overseen by the PELB (Planning, Environment and Lands Bureau), received entries from architects, building services engineers, developers, interior designers and managers for the 1997 awards. The broad scope and high level of participation demonstrate a rising awareness in energy efficiency and environmental protection within the building industry.
