Abstract
Lack of proper plant policy and inadequate plant management can seriously undermine the profitablity of a construction company and can set up longer term financial problems which may, in a recessionary period, be insoluble.
In this article we attempt redress the balance and provide some answers to these questions which relate primarily to the commercial and financial concepts of plant management.
