Abstract
拉胡安市(Laroin)是法國西南部的一座小城,離著名的茹朗松(Jurancon)丘陵不遠。該小城打算在原來的採沙場上建設一個水上運動設施,但要到那裏,必須跨過波河的激流河道(le Gave du Pau)。拉胡安市的市政府原先決定採用傳統的方法,建造一座三跨的行人吊橋(三跨分別為32米﹑46米﹑32米)。如果按這個計劃實施,就必須建造兩座橋墩,並在河床中建設橋墩的基地。但波河水流湍急令施工十分困難。這座跨度為110米的吊橋,中間沒有其他支撐橋樑,其懸拉索是由纖維合成材料做成的,拉索外面包以高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)防護套。
The small town of Laroin in southwest France, not far from the well-known Jurancon hills, is building a water park on the site of some old gravel pits. Access to this requires crossing the Gave du Pau river and the towm council decided on a traditional solution consisting of a footbridge with three spans of 32 m, 46 m and 32 m. This would have required the construction of two piles and their foundations in the riverbed, under difficult conditions in an unpredictable river. The solution was a mixed-material bridge with a 110 m span, without intermediate support, suspended using stays consisting of carbon fibre rods enclosed by a HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) sheath.
