Abstract
Lifestyle trends suggest that people like to be pruned, groomed and pampered in a place far from the monotony of their home, in a sanctuary that uses their favourite cosmetic products. Beauty brands have responded to the demand with a high level of sophistication; they've created their own personalities and product philosophies and they don't intend to trail behind the frenetic and ever-changing fashion industry. Instead, they're creating their own spas, havens (and escapes) from the stress into a world of calm and relaxation.
