Abstract
A climbing form is defined in the Dictionary of Architecture and Consturction as "a concrete form … raised vertically for succeeding lifts (ie, portion of a wall, pier, abument, etc) of concrete in a given structure, usually supported on anchor bolts or rods embedded in the top of the previous lift; the form is moved only after an entire lift is placed and partially hardened."
This type of operation, the Dictionary points out, makes the climbing form different from the slip-form, which moves during the placement of concrete. As suppliec by VSL Engineers (HK) Ltd, the VSL Climbform is presently being used in the construction of Citibank Plaza, the skyscrapers to be built on IL 8888, Garden Road, Hong Kong Island.

據建築及建造字典的解釋，攀峯模板是「一項種混凝土模板……可以垂直上升，在固定架構內傾注混凝土。模板系統一般是以錨栓或錨杆，崁入對上一層層段作為支出；當整個層段澆灌混凝土及部份變硬後，模板系統才移動上升。」
該字典指出，攀峯模板與滑動模板（滑模﹚的最大分別，是後者在澆灌混凝土時會移動。
目前，花園道地王——萬國寶通廣場——的建築工程，正採用由威勝利工程（香港）有限公司供應的 VSL 攀峯活動模板興建。威勝利董事總經理彭安俊，特別為本刊解釋其公司的活動模板設計及操作程序。
