Abstract
In front of Hollywood Terrace are two scenic lifts which are provided as a convenience to the public, for those who need to travel between Queen's Road Central and Hollywood Road further up the hill. Although there are two lifts, there is little doubt that most, if not all, users accessing them from Queen's Road would use the one that reaches to ground level. Who would, after all, take the trouble of climbing the steps that lead to the other one? A few may even wonder why it is that one of the lifts should be raised above ground level, but therein lies the story of th eproject.
