Abstract
Hong Kong fared respectably well in this year's Southeast Asia regional Du Pont Antron Design Awards Competition, with entries from Tri-View Ltd and Leese Robertson & Freeman Designers Ltd each earning honourary awards and their cash prizes of US$2,000. Antron is a high-performance nylon carpet fibre developed by US-based Du Pont Corp and marketed locally by DuPont Asia Pacific Ltd. The awards programme, which attracted a total of 60 entrants this year, was launched in Southeast Asia in 1987 with the aim of "supporting and elevating standards of interior design excellence in the Asian Region."
