Abstract
Thanks to a band of highly professional individuals who strive to capture the ultimate glamorous glossies of architecture and interiors, the world is able to comprehend the design concepts which define the 'products' of this highly sophisticated field. With the help of architectural photography, numerous idolised images serve to communicate between the different and distant worlds of design and engineering, and that of public taste and expectation. Photography also serves as an amplifier for all who have participated in a project - to construct that arty portfolio, marketing brochure or promotional presentation. For many students of architecture and those practicing who don't have the means to travel frequently, photography is not only their escape or outlet into the realm of the masters, but simply the most convenient method of examining another architect's design intention, ascertained from drawings and plans, against the end result.
