Abstract
Lamex Trading Company Limited was established in 1977 as a supplier of office furniture and the company was quick to realise that Hong Kong was rapidly emerging as a leading business and financial centre and as such, the demand for sophisticated, high-quality office furniture systems and professionally planned office environments would be huge. The Lamex team capitalised on this potential market and in 1989 they started to manufacture their own range of products. In 1992, the parent company Lamex Holdings Limited, became the first office furniture supplier to be listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and their continued success has established them as one of the market leaders in the region. Today, Lamex Trading Company specialises in office furniture which caters to every taste and budget. An impressive CAD service and full project management is available to clients, and with a new 100,000 sq.ft. warehouse in Fanling, Lamex aims to provide an even more competitive and efficient service.
