Abstract
A perfectly ordinary family holiday camp on Cheung Chau Island has become the focus of wider ecological attention because of its low-tech but effective environmental ideas. Owing to the inbuilt commitment from client, architect and academia, the concept is home and dry. However its realisation depends on the rest of us.
