Abstract
By the end of this year, with completion of the Tai Po Water Treatment and Transfer Scheme, Hong Kong's north eastern New Territories will have a sophisticated new water supply system. Angela Tam provides a synopsis of the project for AAC, focusing in particular on the construction of a 12km-long treated water tunnel from Tai Po to Butterfly Valley.
