Abstract
Housing - the big question mark and arguably Hong Kong's most vociferously expressed social, economic, environmental and architectural dilemma. As the 20th century closes, where should we be looking for new solutions, different approaches, innovative schemes and radical methodology. Perhaps the answers lie with the residents themselves. For all those who missed this housing extravaganza, the following excerpts have been documented for hinge by Michael Ng, Jack Sidener, Vincent Ng, Bernard Lim and Jia Beisi. hinge also selected a few of the housing projects that were displayed by HKIA members at the event's exhibition, some of which may have passed us by unnoticed and others that are in progress.
