Abstract
According to Mr Kwong Hon-sang, the new Secretary for Works, the Government's expenditure on public works for the 1996-97 financial year will be similar to this year's. However, more resources will be put aside for the slope stabilisation programme and for transport infrastructure, due to public concern.
剛上任的工務司鄺漢生指出，96-97財政年度的工務開支，將與本年度大同小異，但鑑於公眾關注，政府會多撥資源進行危險斜坡鞏固計劃和興建運輸網絡。
