Abstract
Separated from the main university capus, the Bathanie site covers 17,676 sq m to the west of Pokfulam Road and immediately to the north of the Vocational Training Council (VTC) Building. This site will cater to the need for a new Business School which is simultaneously a separate entity and a part of the overall University of Hong Kong. Separate, but only a few minutes drive from the main campus at Western, Bethanie will be linked by a pedestrian bridge over Pokfulam Road at the northern end of the site to allow a safe direct pedestrian link from Bethanie to the university residential campus comprising High West, Middleton Towers, and University Hall, and to afford access to the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club Riding School and Pokfulam Country Park.
